RKB offers high quality and enjoyable creative experiences in dance to families seeking focus activities in a safe arena, which strengthen bodies and minds. RKB develops original programs that grow and respond to the community. RKB nurtures the link between an accessible experience of dance as it matures into a keen appreciation for the performing arts.

City Center bowREBECCA KELLY BALLET conducts a variety of arts enrichment offerings for which extend the performing arts experience into the community. Dance offers a rich learning City Center audexperience because of its theatrical, intellectual, athletic, recreational, social, and aesthetic make-up. We work with adults, college students, teens, and children, as well as with parents and toddlers. Company members teach masterclasses and technique in classical ballet, modern, jazz, and ballroom styles at all levels of experience from fundamentals to advanced. RKB offers workshops in choreography, repertory, and performing arts related discussions including careers in the arts, and the audition process. For more information on RKB.

TEEN PROGRAM A year-long program weekday afternoons at Rebecca Kelly Ballet Studio in Soho, provides classes in Intermediate Modern and Dance Basics (introductory ballet, modern). On Thursdays, Kelly teaches choreography workshop and performance. Registration form. Ballet coaching and private lessons are available for adults and teens.

WHEN RKB TOURS TO YOUR COMMUNITY The Company specializes in multi-disciplinary programs of interest to individuals with backgrounds in music, sports, writing, and theater. We work with presenters to thoughtfully tailor our program to suit your needs, and to maximize your community's experience of dance. The Company can provide extended residencies with a variety offerings over a period of weeks leading up to a series of public performances, or a single performance, or masterclass.To involve your audience further RKB offer Open Rehearsals, Meet the Artists Events or Panel Discussions, Q & A's following performances, and specialized Workshops. Study Guides are supplied two weeks in advance of all school residencies to aid educators in their presentation of the dance art form to students.

OnStage Scene TBONSTAGE: A Dance Performance Workshop. A summer camp, or conducted as a two-week in-school or after-school program of training and learning about choreography and performance, resulting in a production in which students possessing a variety of skills, perform before their peers. OnStage introduces young people to the art of self-expression through dance, while stimulating original and unique ways to share new-found skills and knowledge. For students ages 7-20 years. Currently offered in a 2-week program in Lake Placid in the heart of the high peaks region of the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, and in a 1-week program at SUNY Potsdam, NY.

YOUNG PEOPLE'S PERFORMANCE PROGRAM involves community youngsters (ages 10-17 years) in a full scale performance of two ballets in a program with an environmental message: endangered species and waste accumulation. Students participate in the creation of posters, costumes, sets, and FAQ's and fact finding for program, about their local recycling programs and endangered species.

KIDS CO-MOTION involves the youngest members (age 1-6 years) of the community in the joy of self-expression through creative movement, music and song, along with their parents. Together, families learn short dances to a broad spectrum of excellent classical, popular, and folk music from many countries, while augmenting movement skills a child of that age is likely to be exploring.

Seating is limited and reservations are required. Sit up close and be thrilled! The superb dancers of Rebecca Kelly Ballet perform duets and solo variations from current repertory.
